Abstract: In hypersonic computational fluid dynamics, the two-temperature (2-T) model is widely used to simulate thermochemical nonequilibrium. The 2-T model incorporates translational-rotational and electron-electronic-vibrational energies, assuming that the integrated energies have the equivalent temperature.
