Abstract:This study investigates the oxide formation behaviour and mechanical properties of oxidedispersion-strengthened (ODS) CoCrFeMnNi high-entropy alloy (HEA) matrix composites produced via powder metallurgy. Grain boundary strengthening, solid solution hardening, and precipitation hardening were controlled by varying the duration of mechanical milling and heat treatment durations. The grain size decreased significantly upon milling and it increased to the range of hundreds of nanometres with the heat treatment. Al… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
