Effect of phase transformation temperature on evolution of physical contact structure of titanium OT4-1 alloy permanent joints in samples "bushing—shaft"

Abstract: The patterns in changes of microstructure, microhardness, distribution of alloying elements, dislocation density are studied during the cold tight interference fi t of 450 microns and subsequent thermal heating in the temperature range of phase α→β-transformation in the contact area of the permanent joint of the "bushing —shaft" samples made of OT4-1 alloy .
