Effect of soil on the vibration and stability of buried composite material pipes conveying fluid

Abstract: This work is concerned with the investigation of the free vibration and stability behavior of the buried composite material pipes. Soil is modeled mathematically as a one and two parameters foundation, (Winkler and Pasternak respectively). Composite material is treated as generally orthotropic material and the flow is a fully turbulent flow. A mathematical model based on Timoshenko beam theory is formulated.
