Effect of Solution Treatment on Microstructures and Properties of Ti‐2Al‐9.2Mo‐2Fe Alloy

Abstract: An effect of solution treatment on microstructures and tensile properties of a new high strength Ti-2Al-9.2Mo-2Fe alloy has been investigated under the wide variety of solution conditions. The result shows that the solution treatment controls the stability of the matrix and the grain size. With increasing the solution temperature, the ductility increases but the strength decreases.
