Effects of an imagery programme on the performance of federated and non-federated Boccia athletes

Abstract: El objetivo de este estudio fue comparar y evaluar los efectos de un programa de visualização mental (IM) en atletas de Boccia federados y no federados. Veintiún atletas de Boccia participaron en este estudio. “…En cuanto al diseño el programa para la evaluación de habilidades psicológicas, en su estudió eran participes solo una muestra del sexo femenino, siendo un total de 10 jugadoras de Montevideo -Uruguay, se intervino 10 sesiones a nivel grupal e individual a través técnicas y estrategias con el método de reestructuración cognitiva y de relajación, concluyendo que favorece su afrontamiento a diversos eventos de estrés y ansiedad gracias al fortalecimiento de las habilidades (Tutte et al, 2020).
