The use of anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs) for treating acute gout has limitations, such as a high incidence of adverse reactions in the gastrointestinal tract and toxicity in the liver, kidney, and heart.
