“…In contrast with earlier findings in the literature, our findings do not confirm previous research reporting TBHC effects on anxiety [25,26], which can be attributed to a different focus of our TBHC intervention (S2 Table). However, we found an effect of TBHC on the frequency of blood pressure measurements, physical activity and the BMI of participants, while most studies do not show effects on these parameters (blood pressure measurement [29,34,35,38], physical activity [23,[29][30][31][32][33][34][35][36][37], BMI [29-31, 38-40, 70-72]), although there are also studies that have similar results (blood pressure measurement [35,38,70], physical activity [25,28,30,37,38,41,70,72,73], BMI [17,25,74]). However, as our findings are exploratory, we can only assume why we see these effects.…”

“…Although unable to be tested with the current data, MI delivery via telephone might have been preferable to any in‐person adjunctive contact. Telephone MI delivery has been demonstrated to be effective and might be particularly appealing to a lower income population, a group which often faces multiple practical barriers to in‐person treatment delivery.…”

“…Failure attributed to conservative treatment of MS is due to development of programmes based on unidirectional therapies, which are promoted and carried out by a single professional group. 4 Different professionals in isolation have found some beneficial short-term results of treating MS, 22 24 among them nursing. 25 , 26 However, recent published tendencies maintain that the approach to achieve long-term efficiency and efficacy for treating MS must be interdisciplinary.…”
