Abstract:In this paper, the effects of the current distribution on the complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) are presented. The CSRR is etched off on the ground plane to provide dual-stopband characteristics over the desired frequency range. The dual-stopband characteristics can be determined by the dimensions of the CSRR.
