Efficacy evaluation of endolift laser for treatment of nasolabial folds and marionette lines

BackgroundOne of the common esthetic complaints of patients is horizontal neck wrinkles that have limited treatment modality.AimIn the present study, we evaluated the efficacy of the Endolift laser on the horizontal neck wrinkles.MethodsTotally, 10 healthy female and male patients suffering horizontal neck wrinkles were joined in this study. All patients are treated with Endolift laser. The effect of the Endolift methods on the horizontal neck wrinkles was evaluated by biometric parameter changed results with Cutometer, Visioface, and the Skin Ultrasound Imaging system. Also, three blinded dermatologists and patients’ satisfaction were evaluated.ResultsThe Visoface results showed that the Endolift laser treatment significantly decline the depth and area of horizontal neck wrinkle. The skin ultrasonography results reported the epidermis and dermis density and thickness were significantly increased. Also, the cutometer outcomes displayed that the Endolift laser treatment can increase skin elasticity. Also, significantly a greater number of patients were well satisfied with the technique.ConclusionIn conclusion, Endolift laser is a safe and effective method for decreasing the horizontal neck wrinkles and improving the appearance of the neck. This procedure does not require general anesthesia and recovery time.

BackgroundInjectable filler, a nonsurgical beauty method, has gained popularity in rejuvenating sagging skin. In this study, polydioxanone (PDO) was utilized as the main component of the ULTRACOL200 filler that helps stimulate collagenesis and provide skin radiant effects. The study aimed to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of ULTRACOL200 with other commercialized products in visually improving dermatological problems.MethodsHerein, 31 participants aged between 20 and 59 years were enrolled in the study. 1 mL of the testing product, as well as the quantity for the compared groups was injected into each participants face side individually. Subsequently, skin texture and sunken volume of skin were measured using ANTERA 3D CS imaging technology at three periods: before the application, 4 weeks after the initial application, and 4 weeks after the 2nd application of ULTRACOL200.ResultsThe final results of skin texture and wrinkle volume evaluation consistently demonstrated significant enhancement. Consequently, subjective questionnaires were provided to the participants to evaluate the efficacy of the testing product, illustrating satisfactory responses after the twice applications.ConclusionThe investigation has contributed substantially to the comprehension of a PDO‐based filler (ULTRACOL200) for skin enhancement and provided profound insight for future clinical trials.

Static glabellar lines treated with the Endolift laser (1470 nm diode laser): A case report Dear Editor, Wrinkles are obvious lines or folds in the skin that make an inappropriate appearance on the face and negatively affect mental health and self-esteem. Glabellar lines, also known as worry lines, are caused by contractions of different muscles of the face, including the corrugator, depressor supercilii, and/or procerus muscles, leading to an undesirable gap between the eyebrows. 1 Several procedures, such as surgery, botulinum toxin type A injection, and implants, have been utilized for the treatment of wrinkles, although patients usually prefer non-invasive and minimally invasive methods. 2 Herein, we reported a patient with deep glabellar lines successfully treated with Endolift, a minimally invasive approach.
