Abstract:A study was carried out to characterize guinea fowl (Numida meleagris) eggs, evaluate the effect of egg weight on hatchability, keet hatch-weight and early growth performance in the Western Highlands of Cameroon. One hundred and seventy-four (174) guinea fowl eggs were collected from a farm in the West Region of Cameroon and characterized. Length, width and weight of eggs were recorded.
