eGIST ovárico: presentación de caso y revisión de la literatura

Abstract: Los tumores del estroma gastrointestinal (GIST) que se desarrollan fuera del tracto digestivo se denominan extra-GIST (eGIST), los eGIST representan aproximadamente el 5-10% de todos los GIST, El eGIST de ovario es excepcional. La mayoría de los GIST albergan una mutación activadora de cinasas en KIT o PDGFRA. Para los eGIST, la incidencia de este tipo de mutación es del 40 al 50%.
