Elastic constant evaluation in piezoelectric ceramics by ultrasonic velocity measurement methods

Abstract: The behavior of elastic constants of piezoelectric materials polarized has been studied by means of ultrasonic velocity measurement. Piezoelectric ceramics were studied using polarization fields in the range 0-10 kV/cm. The elastic module is not frequency dependent at the studied frequency range. The precision of the ultrasonic velocity method was of 0.1 %.
