Elastic constant evaluation in piezoelectric ceramics by ultrasonic velocity measurement methods

Abstract

The behavior of elastic constants of piezoelectric materials polarized has been studied by means of ultrasonic velocity measurement. Piezoelectric ceramics were studied using polarization fields in the range 0-10 kV/cm. The elastic module is not frequency dependent at the studied frequency range. The precision of the ultrasonic velocity method was of 0.1 %.
