“…The only other patient with haemophilia and a high‐titre inhibitor reported to have undergone a heart transplant was an adolescent treated similarly to our patient except for the postanamnaesis use of aPCCs instead of rFVIIa [11]. In one additional published case of cardiac surgery for congenital heart disease in a haemophilia A patient with an inhibitor, high‐dose FVIII followed by the use of an aPCC provided adequate haemostasis [19]. Both individuals also survived without major morbidity.…”
