Elective Obturator Hernia Repair after Closed Repositioning with Ultrasonography

Abstract: An 81-year-old woman presented with abdominal pain and nausea. An abdominal CT revealed a low density mass in the right obturator canal, connecting to the small intestine. A right obturator hernia was diagnosed. Non-operative repositioning was performed 2 hours after the onset of the symptoms.
