Electric–dielectric properties and complex impedance analysis of La0.5Ca0.5−xAgxMnO3 manganites

Abstract: The electric and dielectric properties of La0.5Ca0.5−xAgxMnO3 (LCMO–Ag with x = 0 and x = 0.4) were investigated using the impedance spectroscopy technique.

“…The obtained results were similar to those reported for other work [41]. It can be seen an asymmetry of peak reflects the existence of a non-Debye type of relaxation phenomenon within the material [42,43].…”

“…The effect of substituting Mn by Sn, Fe, Cr and Ti is well studied by our group [17][18][19][20][21][22]. Also, the effects of introducing Ag in manganite-system on electric and dielectric properties are recently studied [23][24][25][26]. Different conduction mechanisms appear when changing the dopant element, its concentration and the substitution sites.…”

“…Recently, La 0.5 Ca 0.5 MnO 3 manganite have been the focus of scientific interest [21][22][23][24][25][26]. There are only few reports on the study of transport properties of Ag doped LCMO [27][28][29][30]. Once structural, magnetic and optical properties of calcium-lanthanum manganite are investigated and explained, researchers are interested to the study of the effect of doping at Ca site by Sr and Ag elements on the physical properties of these manganites [21,22,31].…”
