Electrical conductivity and counterion association of cationic polyacrylamide derivatives in aqueous solution

Abstract: Equivalent electrical conductivity (L) is reported for three series of cationic quaternary ammonium polyacrylamide derivatives with MeSO À 4 , Cl À , Br À and I À as counterions at 25°C, the polyion equivalent concentration C ranging from 5.3 Â 10 À4 to 6.4 Â 10 À3 N and from 1.0 Â 10 À3 to 1.4 Â 10 À2 N.
