Electrical, IR spectroscopy, and DTA studies of some sodium tetraborate glasses containing vanadium oxide

Abstract: The ac electrical conductivity and dielectric constant of semiconductive (Na2B4O7)100‐x(V2O5)x glasses with x = 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, and 5 mol% have been measured at a constant frequency of 1 kHz in the temperature range from 293 to 600 K. IR spectra of these samples have been recorded at room temperature in the range between 400 and 4000 cm−1.
