Abstract:The ac electrical conductivity and dielectric constant of semiconductive (Na2B4O7)100‐x(V2O5)x glasses with x = 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, and 5 mol% have been measured at a constant frequency of 1 kHz in the temperature range from 293 to 600 K. IR spectra of these samples have been recorded at room temperature in the range between 400 and 4000 cm−1. The results showed a broad absorption band with a peak around 3400 cm−1, indicating the presence of a hydroxyl group and the formation of B‐OH within the glass matrix. T… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
