Electrical Measurements During Magnet Construction

Abstract: Throughout the construction phase of the cold mass for SSC magnecs, electrical tests are made to determine that no faulrs in the coil structure have developed. These tests include ones designed to measure turn-to-turn voltage hold-off, hypot tests to ground, coil resistance, and instrumentation checks.
