Abstract:The combined dual trends for increased use of electrical power for more-electric aircraft (MEA) and carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) for light weight aircraft structures have been pursued to improve overall aircraft efficiency, reducing fuel burn and hence emissions.
