Electrified fluctuations in D1⊥D3 and D1⊥D5 systems

Abstract: We present the physical phenomenon of the subject discussed in the paper [1]. In that paper we dealt with the fluctuations of funnel solutions of intersecting D1 and D3 branes and the electric field E was considered as very high value causing the results to be non-physical. In the present work, the variation interval of E is to be [0, 1 λ [. Then, we extend the study to discuss the overall transverse fluctuations of electrified funnel solutions of D1⊥D5 system in the flat background. The boundary conditions ar… Show more

“…We deal with the branes intersection problem of (N, N f )-strings with D5-branes in flat and curved spaces by treating the relative and overall transverse perturbations. And it will be devoted to extend the research begun in [9,12,13]. The duality of intersecting D1-D3 branes in the low energy effective theory in the presence of electric field is found to be broken in [11] but the duality of intersecting D1-D5 branes discussed in [12] is unbroken in the same theory with the electric field is switched on which allows us to be more interested by the study of the intersecting D1-D5 branes.…”

“…We discuss the relative transverse perturbations which are transverse to the string, but parallel to the D5-brane world volume (i.e., along X 1,..,5 ). The overall transverse perturbations were studied in [13].…”
