Abstract:Aqueous zinc ion batteries (AZIBs) are limited by low energy density and poor cycle life. Electrolyte engineering is one of the most effective approaches to address the challenges. In this study, MnSO 4 was selectively incorporated into the cost-effective hybrid electrolyte (ZnSO 4 +K 2 SO 4 , Zn 0.5 K 0.25 ) to improve the energy density and lifespan. Ex situ techniques of XRD and SEM confirmed the electrodeposition of Mn 2+ into porous MnO 2 nanosheets and uniformly covered the Prussian blue cathode surface,… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
