Electroencephalographic patterns in a mechanically ventilated cat with permethrin intoxication

Abstract: Case summary A 1-year-old male castrated domestic shorthair cat was presented in a condition of status epilepticus following incidental permethrin spot-on administration by its owner. General anaesthesia and mechanical positive pressure control ventilation were necessary to control the epileptic seizures and a progressive condition of hypoventilation.
