Electromagnetic corrections to masses and widths in the baryon decuplet, and to ? d cross section at the ? resonance

Abstract: Abstract. The electromagnetic mass splittings of the A and F members of the decuplet are estimated and the resulting decay widths are calculated, assuming SU(2)-invariance of the coupling constants for "unmixed" states. Three additional Coulomb corrections occur when deuterons are used as neutron targets. The combined effects on rc• total cross sections are given.
