Electron Microscopy of Cells Grown on Polyacrylamide Hydrogels

Abstract: The composition of the cell culture environment profoundly affects cultured cells. Standard cell culture equipment such as plastic and glass provide extremely stiff surfaces compared to physiological cell environments (i.e., tissue).
