Electron paramagnetic resonance of Mn2+ doped in alkali trihydrogen selenite single crystals

Abstract: The electron paramagnetic resonance spectra of Mn2+ doped in MeH,(Se0,)2 (Me = Li, Na, K, and Rb) single crystals have been studied at 298 K. In LiH,(Se0,)2, an axis of non-coincidence effect has been observed and Mn2+ spectra show line broadening of outer transitions. In NaH,(Se0,)2, Mn2+ substitutes for Na+ ions and is associated with second nearest neighbour Na+ ion vacancies.
