Electron Scattering by Atoms, Ions, and Molecules

Abstract: A summary is given of many important advances in the scattering of electrons from atoms, ions, and molecules up to the summer of 2008. Recently introduced experimental techniques, which lead to more efficient studies, are discussed together with a wide range of increasingly sophisticated theoretical methods. Examples of experimental and theoretical data are presented and compared where appropriate.
