“…The utility of organic FETs (OFETs) has been demonstrated in multiple electronic devices such as flexible sensors, memory devices, and in the driving circuitry of organic displays . There are now various OFETs with new semiconductor materials exhibiting field-effect mobilities exceeding 1 cm 2 V –1 s –1 . These OFETs are able to match or even exceed the basic performance of amorphous silicon thin-film transistors.…”

“…The hydroxyl-free, low-k PMMA dielectric was also found to facilitate electron transport. 37 However, a more in-depth study on C 60 single crystals suggests that the negative conclusion about hydroxyl groups could be premature. Decent electron mobility (>1 cm 2 V −1 s −1 ) was maintained even though the hydroxyl-rich poly(4-vinylphenol) (PVP) and poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) were applied as the dielectric (Figure 6).…”

“…In our previous work, the BCB layer with a thickness of around 10 nm has been adopted to benchmark the electron mobility of TIPS-PEN, C 60 , and TIPS-TAP single crystals. The hydroxyl-free, low- k PMMA dielectric was also found to facilitate electron transport …”

“…Compared to directly dropping the solution containing pregrown crystals, the DPC method is an in situ technique offering conformal crystal growth along predominant directions on the substrate. Varied types of single crystal arrays were deposited through this method, including 6,13-bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl) pentacene (TIPS-PEN), , 6,13-bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl)-5,7,12,14-tetraazapentacene (TIPS-TAP), tetracene, anthracene, tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ), perylene, , 2,7-dioctyl[1]benzothieno[3,2- b ][1]benzothiophene (C 8 -BTBT), diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP)-based small molecules, and so on. Furthermore, growth conditions like mixed solvents and their ratio, substrate treatment, evaporation environment, and even the pinner itself still have the potential to be optimized.…”
