Elucidation of the Strong Effect of the Annealing and the Magnetic Field on the Magnetic Properties of Ni<sub>2</sub>-based Heusler Microwires

Abstract: We studied the effect of annealing and the applied magnetic field from 50 Oe to 20 kOe on the magneto-structural behavior of Ni2FeSi-based Heusler microwires fabricated by using Taylor-Ulitovsky technique. Using the XRD analysis, a strong effect of annealing, manifested as the development of the crystallization process, was observed.
