EMG breakthrough during cortical silent period in congenital hemiparesis: a descriptive case series

Abstract: Background: The cortical silent period is a transient suppression of electromyographic activity after a transcranial magnetic stimulation pulse, attributed to spinal and supraspinal inhibitory mechanisms.
