Empirical regularities for excitation cross-sections of lead atom (radiative transitions from even levels)

Abstract: Excitation of even levels of lead atoms was studied using the method of extended crossing beams with recording of optical signal emitted by excited atoms. Fortyeight excitation cross sections have been measured at an incident electron energy of 50 eV. Four optical excitation functions (OEFs) have been recorded under varying electron energies in the range E = 0-200 eV.
