Abstract:In this chapter we present an overview of the prevalence of and trends in psychological distress among Norwegian adolescents, including self-reported symptoms of anxiety and depression. We specifically highlight Ungdata surveys from 2010 to 2020, which show a gradual increase in mental health problems for both genders and particularly alarming measurements from 2015 onwards.
