Endocrine problems in adolescents with chronic illness and disabilities

Abstract: Endocrine problems are commonly seen in adolescents with chronic illness and disabilities. These problems may be due to the interference of normal endocrine function, either by the underlying pathology itself or because of the treatment modalities used.
