Abstract:We present an extension of the resolvent operator method to extract fully differential ionization probabilities resulting from the interaction of ultrashort laser pulses with H 2 + by including all electronic and vibrational (dissociative) degrees of freedom. The wave function from which ionization probabilities are extracted is obtained by solving the time-dependent Schrödinger equation in a grid for the case of H 2 + oriented parallel to the polarization direction of the field. The performance of the method … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
