Energy and spectral efficient relay selection and resource allocation in mobile multi‐hop device to device communications

Abstract: The expansion of smart devices and throughput requirements have triggered the integration of multi-hop Device to Device (D2D) underlay the fifth generation (5G) network. This new paradigm has extended the coverage area and enabled ultra-low latency and cost-per-bit communications.
