Energy - efficient and fault tolerant spatial query processing in Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract: In Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) the user establishes a region and requires the WSN to collect data only inside this region. This kind of query is called spatial query. In static deployment, nodes do not fail but can be destroyed, interference can deny the communication and nodes can go to sleep mode in order to save energy.
