Abstract:Sonothermal therapy (STT) has become increasingly attractive recently as a noninvasive, safe, and nonionizing methodology. STT, as a newly emerging heat‐enabled therapeutic approach, can rely on built‐in bubble cavitation and thermal energy‐electron recombination of sonothermal agents (STAs) activated by ultrasound (US) irradiation. In this domain, STT‐enabled nanomedicine is considered a potential treatment for abnormal cell killing and normal cell renewing, which addresses the drawbacks of nonspecific heatin… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
