Engineering cofactor metabolism for improved protein and glucoamylase production in Aspergillus niger

Abstract: Background: Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) is an important cofactor ensuring intracellular redox balance, anabolism and cell growth in all living systems.
