Abstract:We recently described a low-affinity second-generation CD19 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR, CAT) that showed enhanced expansion, cytotoxicity, and anti-tumour efficacy compared to the high-affinity (FMC63 based) CAR used in tisagenlecleucel, in pre-clinical models.
