Abstract:A quasi-particle named plexciton emerges from the hybridization between plasmons and molecular excitons which exhibits characteristic spectral features, such as Fano resonance and Rabi splitting in extinction, scattering, and reflection spectroscopy. However, the understanding of the fluorescence properties in plexcitonic hybrids remains unclear, especially for nonlinear upconverted emissions. In this Letter, we prepared threecomponent plexcitonic hybrids with two cyanine dyes (Cy3 and Cy5) coupled to Ag nanos… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
