Enhancement of power quality for load compensation using three different FACTS devices based on optimized technique

Abstract: Summary This paper presents a study of the interaction between loads, utility grids, and different devices of power quality enhancement. The essential motive of this study is mainly focused on the use of power electronic devices that are applicable to distribution systems, very responsive to disturbances in order to provide power quality improvement and solutions, and also to develop a model of these three FACTS devices (DVR, DSTATCOM, and UPQC) for enhancement of power quality in electrical grids.
