Enhancement of the Catalytic Activity of Hammerhead Ribozymes by Organic Cations

Abstract: Catalytic turnover is important for the application of ribozymes to biotechnology. However, the turnover is often impaired because of the intrinsic high stability of base pairs with cleaved RNA products.
