Abstract: In this work, we hybridize an air cavity reflector and a nanopatterned sapphire substrate (NPSS) for making an inclined-sidewall-shaped deep ultraviolet micro light-emitting diode (DUV micro-LED) array to enhance the light extraction efficiency (LEE).
