Abstract:Gas hydrates have garnered attention for their potential to capture and store large gas volumes in their petite latticelike water structure. This study explores the feasibility of enhancing methane hydrate conversion by hastening hydrate process kinetics, maximizing methane uptake, and storage using benign additives sourced from dried leaves of Calotropis procera (CTP) (milkweed) and Nyctanthes arbor-tristis (NA) (night-flowering jasmine). These bioadditives were compared with the well-known methane hydrate fo… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
