Abstract:Proton conduction fuel cells (PCFCs) are emerging as a promising technology for the conversion of chemical and waste heat energy into electrical energy. However, its commercial application is often hindered by the low activity of the oxygen reduction reaction at low temperatures. In this study, a composite material consisting of BaCo 0.4 Fe 0.4 Zr 0.1 Y 0.1 O 3−δ (BCFZY) and BaCoO 3−δ (BCO) was synthesized to achieve a synergistic combination of proton/oxygen ion/electron triple conduction with oxygen ion/elec… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
