Abstract:Enlarging enterocystoplasty (EA) is widely used to restore bladder function in patients with neurologic bladder or severe fibrosis of the bladder wall. Results are excellent regarding the creation of a suitably sized and compliant reservoir, while voiding and urinary continence depend on the functional conditions of the original bladder.
