Environmental Consequences of Efficient Use of Nitrogen Fertilizers

Abstract: Nitrogen fertilizer represents major economic burden. For this reason, although the efficiency of nitrogen utilization varies highly, its actual use generally remains at low levels; these averaging between 25 and 50%.
