Eosinophilic Fasciitis

Abstract: An 80-year-old woman with eosinophilic fasciitis (EF) is presented. Besides symptoms indicative of EF, the patient expressed features of other autoimmune disease with elevated ANA, anti-DNA, serum-aldolase and thyroid autoantibodies. Glucocorticoid treatment resulted in rapid improvement of laboratory parameters and after 6 months a clinical improvement was also observed.
