“…Such results are in the same order of magnitude with those obtained over Ti-BEA. 16 They are also the first ones obtained, to our best knowledge, in methyl oleate epoxidation with aqueous hydrogen peroxide over Ti-grafted silica materials. Interestingly, the presence of some Ti-O-Ti domains in Ti/Aerosil (as evidenced by DRS-UV-Vis absorption bands above 300 nm) did not affect negatively the epoxidation performance and such behaviour can be attributed to the favorable conditions due to the slow addition of oxidant.…”

“…Ti-MCM-41, Ti-HMS) materials. Corma and coworkers were the first who applied this type of catalysts in the epoxidation of methyl oleate with H 2 O 2 or TBHP [57][58][59][60].…”

“…Some remarkable examples are titanium, vanadium, iron, molybdenum, manganese, or chromium. In the case of titanium, the most significant work on the direct synthesis of Ti-MCM-41 has been published by Corma et al [93][94][95]. The pH value of the synthesis gel is again a decisive variable to obtain structured titanium-containing MCM-41 materials, with the optimum OH/SiO 2 molar ratio = 0.26.…”
