“…Among many magnetic nanoparticles, magnetic magnetite (Fe 3 O 4 ) nanospheres with unique properties have been widely studied in catalysis, ferrofluids, magnetic storage, separation, target drug delivery, etc. [13][14][15] Specially, magnetite nanospheres as adsorbents have exhibited promising applications in wastewater treatment because of their high surface area, non-toxicity, chemical stability and easy magnetic manipulation. [16][17][18] However, the active adsorption sites will be reduced in water owing to the agglomeration of Fe 3 O 4 , thus reducing their adsorption capacity.…”

“…In this work, a high flux and stable h‐BN/PEN nanofibrous composite membrane was developed by assembly of modified h‐BN onto the PEN nanofibrous substrate, as shown in Figure . In order to achieve this target, the hydrophilic properties of hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets were improved by dopamine mussel‐inspired modification (h‐BN‐PDA) . Then, the h‐BN‐PDA nanosheets were directly assembled onto a PEN nanofibrous supporting layer through vacuum filtration, which resulted in a skin layer.…”

“…Over the year prodigious scale of effort has been made to augment the barrier performance and corrosion protection efficiency of the epoxy coatings through the incorporation of various additives and/or anticorrosive pigments . The nanostructure filler such as Fe 2 O 3 , ZnO, TiO 2 , and CuO have been widely used to improve the anti‐corrosion performance of epoxy composites coating .…”

“…Though, the alluring properties have imputed graphene as a prominent filler, but the intricacy in ensuring mono or a few layers subsist of graphene layer in polymer matrix has impeded its complete transfer of those properties. Decoration of inorganic nanoparticles over graphene structure has been one of the approaches to restrain the graphene layers from being restacked . Among the inorganic nanoparticles, magnetic Fe 3 O 4 has been profusely explored for being less toxic, easy to prepare, low cost and excellent anticorrosive properties.…”
